Team Leader Sales (w/m)
Location: Bressanone or Venice – Italy
As the Sales Team Leader for Food and Fruit Scanning Technology, you will be responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition within the food industry. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in business development, identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships to enhance BIOMETiC’s position in the market. You will build and manage a high-performing sales team while establishing and nurturing key relationships with clients, distributors, and other stakeholders in the food and fruit sector.
Your tasks
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives in the food and fruit scanning technology space
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and marketing team to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Drive a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales and marketing organization
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the food and fruit industry to expand the company’s market share, also through the identification, evaluation and negotiation of potential strategic partnerships
- Establish and strengthen relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry influencers
- Collaborate with the product development team to align offerings with market needs
- Work closely with clients to understand their challenges, understanding customer requirements and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Be responsible for sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes
- Implement and optimize sales processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Your profile
- Master degree in Business Administration Marketing or Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales, with a focus on technology solutions for the industry
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably in technology solutions
- Strong understanding of scanning technology and its applications in the food industry is an advantage
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results in a dynamic and competitive market
- Proficiency in both Italian and English. German is a plus
Software Engineer (w/m)
Location: Bressanone or Venice – Italy
As Software Engineer in our technical and operating departments, you will become an expert of our scanning optimization solutions for the food industry, having the possibility seeing the industrial processes at 360°. You will implement, validate and optimize our software in relation to industry needs, contributing to the success of our innovating company.
Your tasks
- Design, adaptation and validation of our software meeting customer-specific requirements
- Customization and commissioning of our scanning optimization solutions in the production line directly on the field
- Development and implementation of software for new machine functions such as computer vision and UX/UI design
- Collaboration in all Project phases: start, testing, delivery, commissioning and optimization of the software
- Cooperation with our Customer Support and Sales department in the definition of specific software requirements
- Preparation of software documentation
Your profile
- Degree in Information Engineering or similar, a specialization in image processing is appreciated
- Good understanding of C / C++
- Familiarity with the development environment Microsoft Visual Studio and knowledge of computer vision and image processing are an advantage
- Good knowledge of English and Italian, knowledge of German is appreciated
- Structured and autonomous way of working with a sensitivity to customers’ needs
- Curious and open minded, willing to travel worldwide
- High problem-solving skills
- Strong relational and communication skills
- Driving license B
Support Technician (w/m)
Location: Venice – Italy
As a Support Technician, you will support our customers worldwide by helping to keep their machines running and performant. Supported and trained by the team’s colleagues, you will enter the BIOMETiC world and be part of a dynamic and innovative company aiming to deliver a high-quality service.
Your tasks
- Support to our clients for quality control in the production
- Remote support for the solution of various issues
- Executions of onsite maintenance operations and training at the customer site
- Identification and classification of non-conformities on images of food products
- Cooperation with the development team for the creation of systems based on AI
- Management of client requests, playing a liaison role with other internal technical departments
Your profile
- Technical education in the fields of electronics, informatics, electrical engineering, automation technology, or mechatronics
- Good knowledge of English and other languages is an advantage
- Independent and structured way of working with a customer-oriented approach
- High problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Availability to travel worldwide
- Driving license B
